Our senses

We have been learning about our 5 senses

1O Smell investigation - what's in the pots?

 1B identifying herbs

 1B Taste test

1O using sight for observational drawing of harvest fruit and veg

We also used our hearing to listen to Vivaldi's 'Autumn' whilst we painted.

We are preparing to create a new School Eco Committee at school next week and are looking for new members. This will involve selecting one child per class by class vote. Eco Committee is a group created with representatives from every year group. They meet on a Wednesday after school to work on projects together. If your child would like to stand for election (not compulsory) to this post please help them to prepare by talking about their Eco ideas at home so that they can talk to their class on Monday.

Have a great weekend!

Victorian Dining

Forest School fun with a Victorian experience!

We have been focusing on table manners and using our knives and forks correctly to eat our lunch in the dining room as well. We'd love it if you could reinforce this at home too. Thanks.

Mrs Bell needs each child to bring in a large man-sized sock for next week's Forest School session please.
Have a great weekend!
