Happy New Year!

What a great start to the new term. We've quickly got stuck in to our new topic 'Fairies and Frogs' and have started with a focus on Jack and the Beanstalk. We've even got beans into our Maths work!
Here we are learning that one bean has a mass of  1g and a thousand beans is 1 kg.

We created a rhyming words beanstalk.

Ta da - we did it!

Here we are retelling the story of Jack and the Beanstalk with actions!

1B have been busy writing the story of Jack and the Beanstalk

and getting creative making fabulous spoon puppets

Please bring in any outstanding Chrstingle candle money boxes as we need to send them off to the Children's Society. Thank you.

Please could we have an empty jam jar with a lid for each child in school by next Thursday?
We plan to make some magic potions.
Have a restful weekend - it's a full and busy week ahead!
